Congratulations to Jane & Yagnesh who were married on the 22nd August at Woodside a lovley Edwardian Mansion based on the outskirts of the historical town of Kenilworth in Warwickshire. Nestled in beautiful gardens, woodlands and even its own orchard the backdrops for my photography were endless, Jon Thorne Wedding Photography http://www.thorneweddingphotography.co.uk at Woodside wedding venue Kenilworth, Warwickshire.
The dreaded rain word was not mentioned as the forecast sounded very much against us. A wonderful relaxed atmosphere at Jane & Yag's house whilst the bridal party prepared, I photographed lots of details, floral, hair & make up images and more shots when emotions ran high as Jane handed out some presents to her parents Edna & Peter. Yag's parents Niru & Uni enjoyed the hospitality whilst Evie the little flower girl sat quietly playing on her IPad having her hair done before everyone was nearly ready to set off to Woodside.
Then for me it was off to meet the gents to photograph a little of their preparation and shoot them meeting & greeting guests as they arrived at Woodside, it was apparent the day was going to be full of all the emotion expected as lots of family members congregated at the venue.
The ceremony was delightful as Jane & Yags listened to readings and exchanged rings, the background music from Hugh McDonald a Spanish & classical guitar wizard really added to the occasion, Jane did well holding on to the tears.
After the ceremony group images shot and bubbles flowing we started to work together creating some beautiful imagery in and around the venue, examples of these images are attached to this blog. I had designed my shoot plan to have some time with the bride & groom prior to the wedding breakfast and also utilize a little time after before the party started and all the evening guests arrived. It was a delightful day mixing lots of different people close family and friends really helped make Jane & Yag's day a special one.
