There aren't enough words I could muster to truly do justice to how incredible Jon has been to work with but bear with me. From the very first meeting, giving us a full showcase of his style, the way he works and how he builds his portfolio of weddings, all the way through to post wedding delivery of the finished products, he was always so patient, understanding and adaptable.
The venue we chose for our wedding was over 100 miles away from where we live, and as such Jon was always flexible in organising Zoom calls around our working day, sometimes these calls were of an evening which Jon was more than happy to accommodate given our circumstances. After the first call we immediately fell in love with Jon's personality, energy and style and knew he would be the perfect fit for our wedding. We then had multiple follow up sessions to work through the ideation of how we wanted our day to go, with Jon really driving his personality and style into the planning, which was perfect given he'd already photographed at our venue.
On the day, Jon was conscientious and polite, making sure where we had intimate moments he wasn't distracting or "in the way" but also had the perfect knack for capturing the most beautiful candid, unplanned photographs. So many of our guests commented on how polite, personable and just generally a nice guy Jon was throughout the day.
Post wedding, Jon turned our photos around to get us the full gallery of what he had shot in a fantastic timeframe. He prioritised our wedding shots when he had a postponement and made sure we were aware of what was going on all the way through the process, giving us realistic time scales and timely updates.
All in all, Jon was a pleasure to work with, we couldn't have chosen anybody more perfect to shoot our special day, and Jon is somebody that I will continue to recommend to anybody looking for a wedding photographer, because not only does he create incredible moments from behind the lens, he is a genuinely great person along with it.
